  • In the park, on campgrounds and hiking trails, dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times. The leash must be 6 ft (1.8 m) or shorter. If your dog weighs 20 kg (44 lb) or more, a head halter or harness is also required. There is no additional fee.
  • In the experiential accommodations — pods, chalets, and Hôtel UNIQ tents — dogs are welcome for an additional fee of $35 per dog, per stay.

Only motorized vehicles 25 feet or less are welcome.

Our sites are nestled in the heart of the forest, and access with larger vehicles or equipment is not possible due to the narrow roads and the nature of the terrain.

For this reason, we do not allow motorized vehicles over 25 feet, travel trailers, or tent trailers.

 

Yes, during the low season.

During the high season, sites for one-night stays are only available if there are last-minute openings. Please call us to check availability.

Your campsite will be available from 4:00 PM on the day of your arrival.

Yes, the river is accessible via several trails. However, swimming is unsupervised, and you swim at your own risk.

Yes, when the fire risk index is low enough.

Campfires and cooking fires are permitted, but only in designated areas. They must be fully extinguished before bedtime.

At all times, fires must be supervised by a responsible person.

No, we kindly ask that you do not bring your own firewood. Transporting firewood from one area to another is a significant vector for spreading tree diseases and pests, such as the emerald ash borer and the Asian longhorned beetle, which can severely harm our forests. sepaq.com

For this reason, we sell firewood on site sourced from forest maintenance operations, which helps reduce transportation and is a more environmentally friendly option. In addition, our kindling comes from scraps provided by a local sawmill, supporting the circular economy.

Cost of a bag of firewood purchased on site: $15 for a mix of logs and kindling.

To make your arrival easier, we suggest adding your firewood directly to your cart when making your reservation.

No. Our sites are 100% reserved for traveling campers.

  • No refunds will be issued for circumstances beyond the control of Forêt Ô Cascades, such as weather conditions, late arrivals, or early departures.
  • Date changes: More than 8 days before the arrival date, it is possible to change your dates free of charge. All changes must be made by phone or email. Only one date change per reservation is permitted. Less than 7 days before the arrival date, no date changes are allowed.
  • Refunds: 8 days or more before the stay date: 100% refundable, excluding reservation fees.  7 days or less before the arrival date: no refunds available.
  • We therefore encourage you to carefully plan your stay and review these conditions before finalizing your reservation.

We have a few sites with a view of the river. However, all the sites are located at the top of a slope, so you’ll need to walk to get your feet in the water! All sites are within a 5-minute walk or less from the river.

Only the sites in sector C are accessible by car. The other sites have designated parking along the forest road, a few meters from the site (between 20 and 200 meters). We provide campers with carts or sleds to help transport their luggage.

 

In several areas and at certain times during the summer, the water level can be very low (around 1 foot). For this reason, we do not recommend paddleboarding or kayaking, as conditions may make these activities difficult and potentially unsafe.

However, it is still possible to enjoy floating down the river in a tube or on a paddleboard-style inflatable mattress (without a fin).

You can also visit Ô Cascades de Rawdon, located just 1 minute away by car, which provides access to Lake Pontbriand, or the municipal beach, located about 10 minutes away by car.

Please note that all types of motors are prohibited on the river in order to preserve the peaceful atmosphere and the natural environment.

The riverbed is made up of pebbles, so we recommend wearing water shoes.
